The momentum equation without body forces

ρD𝐯Dt=−∇p

Expanding the substantial derivative

ρ∂𝐯∂t+ρ𝐯⋅∇𝐯=−∇p

The first and second law of thermodynamics gives

T∇s=∇h−∇pρ

Insert ∇p from the momentum equation

T∇s=∇h+∂𝐯∂t+𝐯⋅∇𝐯

Definition of total enthalpy (ho)

ho=h+12𝐯⋅𝐯⇒∇h=∇ho−∇(12𝐯⋅𝐯)

The last term can be rewritten as

∇(12𝐯⋅𝐯)=𝐯×(∇×𝐯)+𝐯⋅∇𝐯

which gives

∇h=∇ho−𝐯×(∇×𝐯)−𝐯⋅∇𝐯

Insert ∇h in the entropy equation gives

T∇s=∇ho−𝐯×(∇×𝐯)−𝐯⋅∇𝐯+∂𝐯∂t+𝐯⋅∇𝐯

T∇s=∇ho−𝐯×(∇×𝐯)+∂𝐯∂t
