Template:Documentation subpage
The pair of templates Template:Tl and Template:Tl is used for labeling equations in text.
For example, Template:Markup2 Here, the identifier "Eq. 1" is a label which can be later referred to with a call to Template:Tl. That is, Template:Tlb produces a link (Eq. 1) to this equation.
Similarly, Template:Markup2 which can be referred to by Template:Tlb or even Template:Tlb (i.e., (Equation 2)).
This template can be used together with Template:Tl to produce nicely formatted numbered equations. For instance:
{{NumBlk|::|<math>x^2+x+1=0</math>|{{EquationRef|3}}}}
<templatestyles src="MyStyles/NumberedBlock/styles.css" />
| (3) |
- which may then be referred to by Template:Tlb or even Template:Tlb (i.e., (Eq. 3)).
{{NumBlk|::|<math>x^2+x+1=0</math>|{{EquationRef|4|Eq.4}}}}
<templatestyles src="MyStyles/NumberedBlock/styles.css" />
| (Eq. 4) |
- which may be referred to by Template:Tlb (i.e., (Eq. 4)).
{{NumBlk|::|<math>x^2+x+1=0</math>|{{EquationRef|Eq.5}}}}
<templatestyles src="MyStyles/NumberedBlock/styles.css" />
| (Eq. 5) |
- which may be referred to by Template:Tlb (i.e., (Eq. 5)).
The common shorthand (#) can be written using Template:Template, e.g. Template:Tlb gives ((5))
